Queridos compatriotas

Damas y Caballeros:

Gracias por su presencia en esta celebración del Día Nacional y del 40º Aniversario de la Victoria de la Revolución Islámica Irani.

En las últimas 4 décadas, los mayores logros de la R.I. de Irán han sido el establecimiento de la democracia, el cual ha pavimentado el camino para sentar considerables registros en otros aspectos, tales como garantizar derechos políticos a los ciudadanos, promover la participación social de la mujer, preservar los derechos de las minorías, etc.

Como Uds. Saben, Irán goza de una rica historia y puede jactarse de ser una de las más antiguas civilizaciones del mundo. Irán está ubicado en el sur oeste de Asia, en la región del Medio Oriente y se ubica en la posición 18 como el país más grande en su área.

El tamaño y la posición del país han hecho que históricamente sea un puente estratégico para las rutas de este- oeste y norte –sur, el cual demuestra su potencial, para ser un eje regional para el comercio y un atractivo destino turístico.

 Región del Medio Oriente

Déjenme hablarles sobre nuestra región.

Desafortunadamente algunos países en nuestra región aún mantienen disputas, crisis y guerra.

La gente de Siria, Irak, Yemen y Palestina sufren por las difíciles situaciones de la guerra, el terrorismo y la ocupación.

Desafortunadamente durante los últimos años, algunos países de la región han comprado más de 100 mil millones de dólares en armas, mayoritariamente desde Estados Unidos, lo cual incrementa la inestabilidad en el Medio Oriente y en la región del Golfo Pérsico.

En los últimos años Irán como un país seguro y poderoso en la región ha jugado un rol importante y efectivo en contra del terrorismo, especialmente a través de negociaciones y diplomacia.

Durante 2018 Irán ha continuado sus esfuerzos para apoyar al pueblo y al gobierno de Siria para luchar contra los grupos terroristas en cooperación con Rusia y Turquía.

También en la guerra contra Yemen, Irán ha tratado de apoyar las negociaciones en este conflicto. En ese sentido se han realizado 4 rondas de negociaciones con países EuropeoIrán ha aprovechado también cada oportunidad para invitar a otros  países del Golfo Pérsico, para discutir y preparar el terreno y resolver los problemas de la región. Creemos que un acercamiento político y dialogo, son la mejor solución para la resolución de un conflicto.

La semana pasada el Presidente de Irán mencionó que “nuestra motivación es tener un mundo libre de violencia y extremismo”.

 Relaciones de Irán con Chile y América Latina.

 Irán comenzó sus relaciones con países de América Latina, como Chile, Brasil, México, Argentina y Uruguay en 1902.

Irán ha tenido buenas relaciones de cooperación en las últimas 2 décadas con algunos países de América Latina.

En los últimos años Irán y Chile han disfrutado de buenas relaciones y han mantenido cooperaciones en temas internacionales.

Existen muchas áreas en ambos países para mutuas cooperaciones.

En 2018, Su Excelencia Laya Joneidi, Vice Presidenta de Irán visitó Chile y sostuvo exitosas reuniones con el Presidente Piñera.

También la visita del Señor Ansari Vice Ministro de Economía del Ministro de Asuntos Exteriores de Irán, fue una buena oportunidad para ambas naciones para negociar asuntos bilaterales en áreas de cooperación comercial y económica.

Irán está particularmente interesado en incrementar sus relaciones con Chile en todos los campos, cooperación internacional, comercio, turismo y temas culturales.

El volumen de comercio entre ambas naciones ha aumentado, y comparado con 3 años atrás ha crecido 4 veces, pero aun necesita promoverse y crecer más.

Existen muchas oportunidades para los chilenos en Irán y estoy seguro que existen muchas áreas que hasta ahora no han sido exploradas.

Irán desea expandir sus relaciones con Chile en todos los sectores especialmente el comercio y la inversión.

Los campos de cooperación incluyen:

• Minería
• Turismo
• Energías renovables, como las energías eólicas y solar
• Agricultura
• Celulosa y la industria del papel
• Como representante de Irán, mis tareas y metas se mueven en esta dirección, lleno de esperanza sobre los lazos bilaterales, los cuales ciertamente brindan beneficios para los pueblos de ambas naciones.

Dear Iranian compatriots

Ladies and gentlemen:

Thank you for your presence at the celebration of the national day, and  fortieth anniversary of the victory of the Iranian Islamic revolution.

On the past four decades, The major achievement of the  Islamic republic of Iran, is the establishment of democracy, which has paved the way for setting considerable records in the other aspects, such as granting political right to citizens, promoting women’s social participation, preserving the rights of the minorities and etc.

As you know, Iran enjoys a rich and lavish history and boasts one of the world’s oldest civilizations. Iran is located in southwest Asia, in the Middle East region, and is the 18^th largest country by area in the world.

The country’s size and position have historically made it a strategic bridge for east- west and north- south trade routes, which indicates its potential, to be a regional hub for commerce and attractive tourist destination.

Now Let me to talk about our region.

Unfortunately some countries in our region are still struggling with disputes, crisis and war.

The people of Syria, Iraq,Yemen and Palestine are suffering of the hard situation such as war, terrorism and occupation.

Unfortunately over the past few years, some regional countries have bought  more than one hundred billion dollars of weapons, mostly from the United States, that increases the instability in the Middle East and Persian Gulf region.

In the past few years, Iran as the secure and powerful country in the region, had played an important and effective role against terrorism, especially through negotiation and diplomacy.

During 2018 Iran has continued his efforts to support people and government of  Syria to fights against terrorist groups  in cooperation by Russia and Turkey.

Also in Yemen Iran tried to support negotiations in Yemen and  in this regard performed  four round  negotiation  with some  European countries.

Iran has seized every opportunity to invite other countries in the Persian Gulf also, to discuss in  bids to prepare the ground for solving the problems of the region. We believe political approach and dialogue, is the best solution for conflict resolution.

Last week the President of Iran mentioned that “our Motto is a world free of violence and extremism”.

Iran relations with Chile and Latin America

Iran began relationship with Latin American countries such as Chile, Brazil, Mexico, Argentina and Uruguay in 1902.

Iran has had good relation and cooperation in the past two decades with the some countries of Latin America.

In recent years Iran and Chile enjoyed good relation and have had good cooperation at the international issues.

There are plenty of areas for both countries to cooperate together.

In 2018 her Excellency  Mrs. Joneydi vice president of Iran visit’s Chile and held successful meeting with president of Chile his Excellency Mr. Pienera. Also the visit of Mr. Ansari deputy of foreign ministry of Iran, made a good opportunity for both sides to negotiate bilateral ties in the areas of  trade and economic cooperation.

Iran is particularly interested in increasing its relations with Chile in all fields: international cooperation, trade, tourism and cultural issues.

The volume of trade between two countries is increased, and comparing to 3 years ago increases 4 times, but still needs to boost and increase more.

There are many opportunities that Chileans can find in Iran and I am sure there are many areas that so far have not been explored.

Iran would like to expand its relations with Chile in all sectors especially trade and investment.

Fields for cooperation are including:

– Mining

– Tourism

– Renewable energies, such as wind and solar energy

– Agriculture

– Cellulose and paper industry

As the representative of Iran, my duties and goals, moves in this direction, full of hope about the future of bilateral ties, which certainly bring benefit for the people of both countries.
