The Latest News from EPA’s Integrated Risk Information System (IRIS) ProgramFebruary Announcements:EPA’s SAB Announces February 20, 2015 Public Teleconference for EtO ReviewEPA’s Science Advisory Board announced a public teleconference of the SAB Chemical Assessment Advisory Committee augmented for the ethylene oxide (EtO) review to discuss its draft peer review report (dated January 2015) concerning EPA’s Evaluation of Inhalation Carcinogenicity of Ethylene Oxide (Revised External Review Draft – August 2014). EPA Posted the Agenda for the February 25-26, 2015 IRIS Bimonthly Public Science Meeting

EPA will discuss key scientific questions that apply to a broad group of phthalates during the February IRIS Bimonthly Public Science Meeting. Meeting materials, including the agenda, key science questions, and registration information are posted online. The phthalates to be discussed include diisobutyl phthalate (DIBP), butyl benzyl phthalate (BBP), and dibutyl phthalate (DBP). In person registration has closed; however, to register to attend this public science meeting via webinar by visiting the IRIS February Bimonthly Public Science Meeting webpages.

EPA’s SAB Announces Two Upcoming Meetings for Benzo[a]pyrene Review

EPA’s Science Advisory Board announced two meetings of the Chemical Assessment Advisory Committee augmented for the benzo[a]pyrene IRIS assessment review: a public teleconference on March 4, 2015 and a face-to-face meeting held in the Washington, D.C metro area on April 15-17, 2015.
